It is Cebu's biggest and illustrious feast which is celebrated every 3rd Sunday of January in honor of the holy image of Señor Sto. Niño. Fiesta Señor, as it is commonly known, is the most celebrated among Cebu's festivals because this is where hundreds of pious people are gathered together to glorify the Sto. Niño.
The highlight of the festival is the mardigras type parade plunged with the throng of awesome dancers coupled with their multi-colored costumes. With the groovy beating of drums one can't resist but to dance simultaneously at the same time ceaselessly taking pictures of the wondrous picturesque scenes.
Lots of contingents from different places of Cebu are performing for it is also a competition and whichever groups attract the judge's and crowd's heart may receive the worthy prize. But what makes it wonderful is the fact that, either they win or lose the competition, it ain't a big deal for somehow an offer for the Sto. Niño. Just how amazing Cebuanos are?
